It has been established in the year of 1995. The SMU has been established under the Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical and Technological Sciences Act, 1995. SMU Distance MBA: Admission Procedure
Sikkim Manipal University Distance Education popularly known as SMU-DE; leading provider of Distance Education Courses in India offering two years Distance learning MBA programme for the session 2018-19 through its pan India based study centres. SMU-DE MBA is one of the popular and trusted distance education course in India because Sikkim Manipal Universtiy wants to provide a quality Distance MBA programme whether it comes to its Fee structure, unique content of MBA Syllabus etc.For SMU Distance MBA Admission 2018-19 your first step would be purchasing SMU MBA Prospectus 2018-19 and after that you have to contact your nearest Authorized centre then if necessary, take the help of centre to filling and sending form online and get a print out of it. After that read it carefully & paste your recent photograph, signature in the respective fields & send along with Xerox of your documents to the University’s Address. You can choose different modes of Fee payment mentioned in the Prospectus. If the application is found correct by the University in terms of candidate’s Eligibility and suitability for Admission; University will grant admission to the candidate in the MBA programme and dispatch an Official E-mail ID to the candidate for future communication. Hence, identity card and self-learning material for the Distance MBA programme will be given by the Authorized study centre where candidate has taken the admission.
There are few steps in the SMU Admission Procedure of Distance MBA programme to be followed by the candidates:
Step 1: Fill the MBA application form 2018 as per the instructions given & attach all the required documents, (D.D) Demand Draft of Fee and then submit this application form to the Authorized centre where you are going to take admission.
Step 2: Authorized centre will verify the documents and send it to the University.
Step 3: Once University received the required documents and found candidate is eligible for the programme it will upload a verification detail on the University website.
Step 4: On the acceptance of the documents University will dispatch a Registration number to the student.
Step 5: After that, University will allocate an EduNxt password, Study material and photo ID to the Centre.
Step 6: In last student will collect the Photo Id, self-learning material and EduNxt password to the centre to start MBA programme.
SMU Distance MBA: Fee Structure
For MBA Programme fee structure is made to be paid on Semester Basis. Hence, Per Semester Fee is Rs.15,000/- which inclusive of Rs.2,100/- Exam Fee & Rs. 200/- Alumni Fee. Note: fee may revise by the university time to time. To be found eligible a candidate must have 3 years graduate degree from a Govt. Recognized University in any discipline and qualified score in the SMU Entrance Exam for MBA programme to get admission into SMUDE MBA Programme.Duration of Course
Minimum Duration : Two yearsMaximum Duration : four years
Note: For those Students who are pursuing MBA Programme with dual specialization; minimum duration would be 3 years and maximum duration would be 6 years.
Medium of Instruction
For all management courses of Sikkim Manipal University medium of instruction is English Language.
